JOB PURPOSE

To ensure reiable duty by assisting RNC construction teams during maintenance an construction work in Track

To ensure that work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties

QUALIFICATIONS ,SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Minimum Grade 9

Physically and mentally fit

Communication skills

Distinguish between correct tools, equipment and materials and usage thereof for specific task

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Handling and offloading material

Be able to distinguish and identify different types od materials and tools

Use materia to execute tasks recived from supervisor

Understand the sequence of tasks given by supervisor

Performing trench excavations, as well as handling or lay down any kind of services to trenches and do backfilling

Support and obey instructions received from supervisor

Cleaning of site by removing weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors an removing and disposing of excess or rubble materials

Must be able to use any hand tool in the construction environment

Must be able to use any hand tool and or mechanised equipment in the construction environment
