SBV CASH PROCESSORS

Job Description:

As a cash processor, you will be responsible of handling deposits of clients, and change requests efficiently. Cash processors will be responsible of the following responsibilities:

Receive Cash:

– Accept deposits and provide system updates that apply by adhering to all policies and processes.

Sorting of Notes:

– Organise all deposits and notes within the required time.

Desktop deposit processing:

– Verify the bag or container for any damages or possible tampering, should there be any irregularities, ensure to notify the Team Controller.

Sachet and Process Coin:

– Handle large coin deposits in compliance with SBV’s according to guidelines and standards.

Payroll and change:

– Payroll and change transactions must be processed in line with the customer’s SLA.

Prepack/Treasury:

– Help ensure that Bank and ATM cash is packed and unpacked accurately.

Manage equipment:

Handle equipment by using it in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and looking after the assets of the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Requirements:

– Grade 12 with Maths Literacy

– Having previous experience of 6 months as a cashier or teller experience will be added advantage.

– Successfully completed SBV Cash Processor training

– Managing Assignments and Resources: Be able to understand operational management principles.

– Risk management: Must be able to identify risks, and how to handle them.

– Quality management: Ensure quality control in order to satisfy client demands and adhere to legal requirements.
