Role description
Applicants will be expected to work within Pickn’Pay, Checkers, Shoprite stores and go to classroom training to achieve a National Certificate NQF2.

Merchandising work, which includes, but not limited to;

1. Stock management

a. Moving stock from the Warehouse to Retail shopfloor

b. Climbing ladders

c. Building displays

d. Applying FIFO principles

2. Customer service

3. Team work

4. Completing a Portfolio of Evidence (POE)

Role requirement

Willing to work within the Fast Movable Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Someone who is passionate to better themselves and committed to complete the 12 months learnership.

Benefits

Successful applicants who complete their Learneship may be given an opportunity to be employed full time. They will also be encouraged to find work with their specific retail store e.g. PicknPay, Shoprite, Checkers.

All applicants who complete their Learnership will qualify with a NQF 2 National Certificate, which will enable them to progress onto a NQF3/4 etc when programs become available
