Applications for Youth in Human Settlements Program

The Provincial Infrastructure Department in Partnership with, the Municipality, NHBRC, and Corobrik is assisting with the upskilling the Youth through the Youth in Human Settlements Program (YiHSP).
A training opportunity is presented to unemployed young people between the ages of 18-34 as well as those over 35 years who are active and interested to enter the built environment sector. This program includes:

Accredited on site bricklaying training

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided as per the trade trained in.

No cost to the municipality or contractor

A stipend is provided based on attendance.

Temporary employment will be provided
