The Municipality funded by the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority is offering learnership, Apprenticeship and Skills Programmes aimed at preparing unemployed youth by providing them with an opportunity to acquire work experience up towards attaining the NQF linked and SAQA approved qualification or programme in specified field.
Who qualifies to apply for the programmes:
South African Citizens who are permanent residents
Applicants should not have previous work experience or have participated in any learnership, work intergrated learning r internship.
Applicant should not be older than 35 years
Applicants should not have previously benefitted from LGSETA programmes for the same programme
Applicants must commit to adhering to the learnership programme and fulfillment of all terms and conditions of the programme for the duration of the learnership including completion and submission of POEs.
How to apply:
Applicants must specify the qualification for which they are applying. Applications must be accompanied by updated CV, recently certified ID, qualifications or transcript and proof of address, confirmed by either the Municipality, Headman or Councillor
Appointment on the programme is subject to security clearance, verification of qualifications and signing of programme contract.
Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and correspondence will be limited and to shortlisted and selected candidates
