LIQUOR COMPLIANCE WARDENS AT LIQUOR BOARD

Liquor Board has an opportunity of Liquor License Wardens.

Participants will be paid according to the following remuneration structure (stipend):

R4500 (maximum) for someone with ONLY a Matric / Grade 12 CertificateR6000 (maximum) for someone with Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification

 

Contract will commence on the 1st January 2024.

Applicants must have Matric / Grade 12 ORThe following qualifications will be an added advantage National Diploma in Policing, B-Tech in Policing, 3-year law degree, Degree, Diploma in Forensic Investigation and/ or Para-Legal Training for Liquor License wardens Opportunities at the Gauteng Liquor License Office.Preference will be given to unemployed youth/graduates.

To qualify you need to meet the following  requirements:

A minimum requirement of matric / Grade 12National Diploma in Policing/ B-Tech in Policing/ 3-year law Degree/ Diploma in Forensic Investigation/ Para-Legal Qualification as recognised by SAQA, Would be an AdvantageAbility to work in a highly pressured environment, ability to multi-task, ability to communicate effectively (oral and in writing).Must be able to work in a team and willing to work shifts/ after hours and on weekends.Applicants should be South African CitizensMust be between the age of 18 – 35Clear criminal recordMust have a valid driver’s license.

Key Performance Areas:

Monitor compliance with license conditions/ Gauteng Liquor Act (Act 2 of 2003).Compile reports and make recommendations to the Gauteng Liquor Board and South African Police Service.Receive, investigate and respond to complaints from members of the public.Participate in enforcement operations.
