Minimum Required Qualification:
-Applicants must have a minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Educational Certificate, with Pure Mathematics and English, in order to be accepted onto the Learner Official Certificate programme
The Appointee should:
– Team Leaders or Operators with current experience in stoping/development
– Applicants must have current mining experience working underground in the primary production field (Stoping/Development)
– Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre
Advantageous Qualifications:
– Applicants with four(4) or more years current mining experience in primary production (Stoping/Development/tramming)
-Applicants with the highest academic results for Grade 12 (Pure Mathematics and English)
Applicants who have completed a higher education qualification in mining (BSc Degree or Diploma)
Additional Requirements:
– Shortlisted applicants will need to undergo an interview process and psychometric assessment, which will be considered during final allocation of learnerships
– The selection process will not be delayed to accommodate applicants whose screening process is delayed for whatsoever reason
– Applicants must upload current; Record of Service, CV, certified (SAPS) copies of ID and qualifications as part of their online application
All foreign qualifications must have SAQA verification
