We’re seeking a General Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting Cooks and Chefs in food production, operating the cash register, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in the canteen and kitchen.

Duties & Responsibilities
– Ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
– Uphold quality standards in customer service, operating processes, health and safety, and food preparation.
– Assist in preparing meals, particularly salads and desserts.
– Maintain a well-stocked and clean serving line.
– Assist in training new employees.
– Store and record food leftovers.
– Keep canteen tables, kitchen, and other areas clean and organized.
– Meet customer expectations within contractual provisions.
– Provide high-level customer service.
– Conduct stock counts and handovers as required.
– Fulfill reasonable management requests.
– Address customer complaints or compliments and take appropriate action.
– Attend meetings and training courses as necessary.
– Perform assigned related tasks.

Qualifications
– Must be 18 years of age.
– Completion of at least a National Senior Certificate.
