Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based in the Packaging Department, at the Gqeberha, Manufacturing Plant. The successful applicant will report to Production Controller.

Key Performance Areas (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Employees in the Packaging Department are expected to assist with general duties, clean the floors, and take care of Company assets.

Follow reasonable instructions from a competent authority when needed.

The fulfillment of all responsibilities that are reasonable in order to guarantee Heineken Beverages’ operational efficiency

The position’s holder is expected to be adaptable in order to meet the needs of operational requirements.

Among the many important areas of performance would be reporting any waste or breakages to the controller.

Assist with concerns of quality.

Help with the stock take as needed

The chosen applicant needs to possess the following requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent experience

One to two years of experience working as a general worker in a manufacturing setting

Product knowledge would be helpful.

Relevant experience working as a general worker in a packaging or related field.

Must be physically fit and muscular to occasionally carry out demanding tasks

The capacity to take initiative on one’s own initiative without being asked to

Capacity to function both as a team and under pressure.

Must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and extra overtime as called upon.

To demonstrate to coworkers, supervisors, and company values effective corporate governance

The candidate ought to be familiar with safe work practices.
