Dedicated not only to patient well-being but also to societal and environmental welfare, NRC is on the lookout for a dynamic, skilled, goal-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join as a Care Worker.
The Care Worker’s primary responsibility will be to aid in tending to and sustaining the basic needs of patients.
Key Performance Areas include:
– Ensuring the safety and efficiency of dialysis services by preparing and sanitizing dialysis machines before each patient session, adhering to policies, procedures, and NRC standards.
– Maintaining the functionality of the unit generator through daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks, logging technical issues, and refueling as necessary.
– Adhering to financial policies and procedures within the unit regarding stock and waste management.
– Providing exceptional customer service and patient care by serving meals according to dietary requirements and NRC guidelines.
– Upholding a safe work environment and dialysis procedures by following infection control and occupational health and safety standards daily.
– Keeping abreast of developments in healthcare worker functions within the unit and updating related knowledge consistently.
– Ensuring dialysis session safety by testing machine alarms before each session to confirm operational status.

Requirements:
– Grade 12 level of numeracy and literacy
